Sanjay Dutt Diagnosed With Stage 3 Lung Cancer, Plans To Go US For Treatment
Actor Sanjay Dutt diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer. It is being said that he will soon be flying to the US for the treatment. The actor's close friend spoke to Bollywood Hungama and revealed that Sanjay is devastated but he can be cured. He said, "Baba is devastated. He has little children. Fortunately, they are in Dubai right now with their mother. But breaking this awful news to them would be an ordeal."
Earlier, Sanjay announced a short break from work citing medical reasons. He tweeted, "Hi friends, I am taking a short break from work for some medical treatment. My family and friends are with me and I urge my well-wishers not to worry or unnecessarily speculate. With your love and good wishes, I will be back soon."

Sanjay's wife Maanayata Dutt released a statement asking fans not to fall for rumours. The statement read, "I thank everyone who has expressed their well wishes for Sanju’s speedy recovery. We need all the strength and prayers to overcome this phase. There is a lot that the family has gone through in the past years but I am confident, this too shall pass. However, it is my heartfelt request to Sanju’s fans to not fall prey to speculations and unwarranted rumours, but to just help us with their ongoing love, warmth and support."
A couple of days back, Sanjay was admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai after complaining of breathlessness and chest discomfort. His COVID-19 test was negative.
On the professional front, the trailer of his upcoming film, Sadak 2 has recently released.
